A classic, reengineered and redesigned — built on the proven Void platform, now stripped down and purpose-built for search and rescue.
The Void series was originally designed to be the most durable and functional expedition duffel on the market. For the SAR version, none of that toughness has changed — we've simply rethought what a rescue bag needs to be.
To cut pack size and weight, we removed the padded foam from the bag walls while keeping the extremely strong, secure outer shell. The result is a lighter, more packable bag that still takes years of abuse without flinching — exactly what you want when every litre and every kilo counts in the cabin.
Constructed with an extremely strong and durable 1000 denier Cordura body and a polyurethane-coated 1000 denier Cordura base, the Void SAR will withstand years of hard service while keeping your gear protected.
Inside, we've increased storage and control with 4 new organisation pockets, so critical kit stays sorted and exactly where you left it. A white interior liner makes it fast and easy to locate gear — even in low light or under pressure.
Our huge main opening, copied many times since we first launched the Void series, gives you full access to everything at once. Why settle for small "half moon" openings when the job demands everything, now?

But let's talk about carry comfort. For these bags, and every Halite product going forward, we've teamed up with market-leading foam experts — the Canadian brand Intuition — to deliver the best load transfer, durability and anti-hot-spot shoulder strap ever built into a bag. Our dual-density Intuition foam construction combines an HD and a DD foam quality for the perfect mix of structure, durability and comfort. You can even heat-mould the shoulder strap for an instant custom fit, though we simply recommend wearing the bag — the straps auto-mould in use.
Purpose-designed for helicopter operations and rescue personnel, the Void SAR brings the toughness of the original Void into a lighter, faster, better-organised package.
